一、Academic Performance Assessment
1.Students should participate in the examination of courses and various teaching links stipulated in the teaching planevery semester. All courses and practical teaching links in each semester must be assessed on time.If you get 60 points or above, you will get corresponding credits.
2.If a course needs to be completed in more than two semesters (including two semesters), each semesterwillbe assessed as a course, and the creditswillbe obtained according to the term evaluation results.
二、Assessment Method
1.The course process assessment content is determined by the course group, which generally includes attendance, homework, quiz, comprehensive homework, thesis, experiment, computer, etc., and each content has a scoring standard; the final written examination time is 2 class hours and the paper surface is 100 points. In the first class, the teacher explains the methods and standards of the performance evaluation to the students, and publishes the process assessment results to the students before the final examination.
2.The students failed in the centralized practice and had no chance to make up for the exam, so they took it again with the next grade.
3.For the course with experiment or computer operation, students must pass the examination of experiment (computer) before they can participate in the examination of the course. Those who fail to pass the test report are not allowed to take part in the course examination, and the results are recorded as failure.
4.There is no chance to make up for the experiment course set up separately, and those who fail in the test will take the next grade again.
5.Practical teaching links, such as teaching practice, production practice, curriculum design, social survey, graduation practice, graduation design (Thesis), etc., are comprehensively assessed at the end of the course. Those who do not take part in the practical teaching without any reason will not be allowed to make up for it or to assess their scores. They may apply for a repeat course.
6.Students who are absent from class for more than 1 / 3 of the total class hours of a course or fail to hand in 1 / 3 of their homework are not allowed to participate in the examination of the course.
三、The Regular Examination, Make-up Exam
1.Two examinations are arranged after the end of each semester. The examination arranged at the end of the current semester is called " the regular examination". The second examination organized by the school within the first week of the next semester is called "make-up examination".
3.Those who fail in the regular examination may take part in the make-up examination, and the make-up examination results shall be recorded with the actual results.
四、Notes on Assessment
1.Students should attend the assessment on time according to the assessment schedule announced by the school or required by teachers. Those who do not take the examination without reason will be treated as absenteeism.
2.Students must abide by the discipline of the examination room. Those who violate the discipline of the examination will be invalid and will be dealt with according to the regulations on disciplinary measures for students of Shenyang University ofTechnology.
五、Postponed Examination and Absent Examination
1.If a student is unable to participate in the final examination due to illness or accident, he / she must submit a written application for postponement to the dean of the college before the examination, and provide the university hospital or relevant certificates. With the consent of the college, the application shall be submitted to the Academic Affairs Office for approval, and the examination can be postponed only after the procedures for postponement are handled in the academic affairs department. In principle, the postponed examination should go through the relevant procedures before the examination.
2.Students who apply for the postponed examination shall follow the make-up examination at the beginning of the term. Except for the reasons of force majeure, the school does not handle the make-up examination and postpone the examination.
3.Students who do not participate in the examination without authorization or cannot enter the examination room due to being late will be regarded as absenteeism. Students who are absent from the examination are not allowed to take the make-up examination, but can only take part in the re examination.
六、Retaking Courses
The students who fail to pass the course examination should get the opportunity of relearningby paying for the credits, which is referred to as retake. In principle, the method of revision is to follow the class, and under special circumstances, the school will arrange the group class to retake.
1.If there are too many students to take the courses again, the Academic Affairs Office will organize the students to study in class, which is referred to as "group class re-study".Re courses are taught separately at the time arranged by the school, and the re courses are recorded according to the actual scores.
2.The students who follow the class will be arranged by the college to be enrolled into the class of junior students. At the beginning of the semester, students can go to the school educational administration online website to check the timetable and follow the class directly.
3.If there is a conflict between the class time of the re course and the class time of the course studied in the current semester, the student can fill in the application form of "no listening and no exemption for the course of Shenyang University of technology" before the beginning of the class. After approval, they can not take part in the study of the re course and directly take the retake examination. The score is recorded according to the total score of the paper.
七、Record of Achievements
1.The course scores are recorded according to the hundred mark system, and 60 points are regarded as pass.
2.The scores obtained through the make-up examination and re examination shall be marked on the report card.
3.After the course assessment, the assessment results, credits and grade points will be recorded in the student's academic record file at the same time, and published through the campus network or college bulletin board. Students themselves should take the initiative to inquire about the assessment results. Students should be responsible for the consequences caused by not knowing their own results.
